PITWALL

macOS · Linux · Windows preview · early builds

You call the strategy. Agents drive.

Run Claude Code, Codex and any other terminal agent side by side. The one that needs you turns amber.

Free and open source under Apache-2.0.

A permission prompt or a question turns the agent amber, sorts it to the top and lights the bar along the bottom. ⌘J jumps there.

Pitwall · web demo of the UI, made-up projects

Works with

  • Claude Code hooks
  • Codex hooks
  • Gemini CLI
  • opencode
  • Cursor Agent
  • Copilot CLI
  • Qwen Code
  • Amp
  • Aider
  • any CLI

Pit stop

⌘Q closes the window, not your agents. Their terminals keep running and come back with the scrollback on the next launch.

Native

A Rust app drawn on the GPU with GPUI, Zed's UI framework. No web view: terminals are parsed and drawn in the same process, so a wall of busy agents stays light. More

Also

Claude Code and Codex on more than one login, per project or per agent. Sessions on agw VMs show up next to local agents, and a pitwall CLI lets you or an agent add more; anything that touches another machine waits for your OK in the app.

Race Engineer

Optional: an assistant agent for Pitwall itself, on the agent and subscription you already use. Ask it to set up agw, arrange spaces or tune settings; it works through the pitwall CLI, and risky steps still wait for your OK. Nothing runs until you open it.

Coming

A background service with a menu-bar item that keeps your agents running while the app is closed. Not in a build yet. Roadmap

Box, box. Stop hunting for the stuck agent.

macOS (Apple silicon and Intel), Linux x86_64 and Windows x64 (preview). Builds aren't code-signed yet, so the first launch needs one extra click (how). This site has no tracking.
